The Kent High Weald Partnership is a dynamic and innovative Countryside Management Partnership, operating across the Borough of Tunbridge Wells working within the varied and beautiful landscape of the High Weald AONB and Low Weald of Kent. Based in the wonderful surroundings of Bedgebury Pinetum.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who will be responsible for the management of a number of Local Nature Reserves and green spaces, community projects, public events and educational activities within the project area.
You will have experience of habitat management, management plan implementation and a broad range of practical countryside management skills alongside the ability to engage and inspire local communities about nature conservation. You will be able communicate effectively with a wide range of people including volunteers, community groups, project partners, families and children and demonstrate a proven ability to fundraise for community conservation projects.
Understanding of Countryside Management issues is important, as well as self-motivation, initiative, tact and to be able to fit seamlessly into a small team.
