Free Loanable Environmental Education Kit for

Schools With Help from Love Where We Live

To help schools make the most of their school grounds KHWP has put together a loanable environmental education tool kit containing all the equipment and information required to run a session. The kit will be available for free to all schools in the TWBC area.

The loanable kit is part of a Love Where We Live funded project. KHWP working in conjunction with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has provided training for 6 local schools to enable teachers to use their school grounds as a learning resource. The training demonstrated a whole range of cross curricular environmental education activities. It has given teachers the opportunity to deliver exciting and stimulating outdoor learning activities, like mini beast hunts and educational games, on a regular basis.
