We did IT!

A Massive THANK YOU to everyone who  donated, shared and spread the word about our campaign.

The last few weeks have been difficult without our truck and we are all looking forward to getting back on & off road as soon as we can

Everyone who donated via Spacehive should have had notification that they will be collecting funds shortly.You have signed up for a one off payment, Not a direct debit as the automated email may have said.

 

Stuck without a truck – not anymore! Did you catch our video on KM TV last night? Cameron Tucker from KMTV joined us out at Southborough common to talk about our successful crowdfunding campaign following our December burglary.

On the December 12th 2017 thieves broke into our office & stole our truck & lots of tools. Without our truck we cannot get on with all our great projects such as:

*Conservation work in nature reserves with volunteers who come out with us because they share our passion for wildlife or maybe because they feel lonely and enjoy the company and fresh air
*Gardening in parks with people with mental health difficulties
*Teaching gardening skills to local people on a community allotment
*Running forest school in local woods giving children freedom & skills to build wonderful memories which they can take with them to adulthood
*Working with the local community in parks & gardens researching the best flowers for our bees and pollinators
*Working outdoors with families in difficulty helping them build relationships with each other

What we’ll deliver:
Conserve, protect & enhance the Tunbridge Wells nature reserves and greenspaces for the community and for wildlife
Provide opportunities for people to volunteer, get outdoors, learn new skills, meet people, & improve health & wellbeing
Offer unique projects dedicated to connecting people with nature
Why it’s a great idea:
We are a team of 8 passionate people who, along with our volunteers, work really hard to make our green spaces awesome for wildlife and people. Every penny we raise will help give us a vehicle to continue to do our great work. Our vehicle allows us to access our sites and projects, transport the tools and materials we need, and is critical to the overall delivery and function of our organisational goals.
