Hilbert Woods Local Nature Reserve is open to the public 365 days a year. A combination of tarmac and woodland paths provides good access across the site on foot.

Direct access to Hilbert Woods can be located in the northeastern area of the reserve via a footpath leading down from Sandhurst Park, or on the western side, across the railway bridge from Upper Grosvenor Road.

You can also gain access through the main entrances of Grosvenor and Hilbert Recreation Grounds.
