Barnett's Wood Local Nature Reserve is open to the public 365 days a year. A network of paths provides good access across the site on foot, and an Access for All tarmac path provides a wheel friendly route around the picnic area, and down to the pond. Two RADAR gates are situated between the picnic area and the pond enclosure, and can be opened by using a RADAR key. Download our leaflet on access for all at Barnett's Wood to find out more.

The site is in the High Brooms area of Tunbridge Wells. From High Brooms train station, turn right on to North Farm Road, then immediately left on to High Brooms Road. Continue up the hill and along the road, past a church on your left, and a parade of shops on your right. After the shops, take the first turning on your right, travelling downhill past St. Matthew's Primary School, and on to the mini-roundabout shown in the bottom left corner of the reserve's map.

Barnett's Wood can be entered on foot from four different entrances: through Wheelers Field; from Blackthorn Avenue; from Aspen Way, or along Juniper Close.

The reserve is well served for public transport, and can be reached on Arriva bus route 281. Contact Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 (www.traveline.org.uk) to plan your journey.
