High Weald AONB

We work in the Kent High Weald, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) for its rolling hills, small, irregular fields, abundant woods and hedges, scattered farmsteads and sunken lanes. www.highweald.org

Sussex Circular

The walk starts at The Grove, northeast of the Pantiles. It heads out through Camden Park to Hawkenbury. Follow the brown edged TWC link route signs until you join the Tunbridge Wells Circular at High Woods. From there, the green edged TWC High Weald Walk waymarks lead you south to Frant, and then west to Eridge Green and Groombridge.

This part of the walk is described in more detail in sections 3, 4 and 5 of the guidebook.

At Groombridge Place, leave the main route and return east past High Rocks, following the TWC Link Route waymarks to Tunbridge Wells Common.
