2¼ miles - allow 1½ hours This section of the walk takes you through some attractive parkland meadows, where in season wildflowers such as birds-foot-trefoil, yellow rattle and common spotted orchids can be seen The path then continues on its way to Langton Green, a traditional village, with a pub, houses and church encircled by an immaculate green. The path then winds down into the ancient woodlands of Burnt Wood and Avery's Wood, where bluebells make a wonderful spring site, before reaching Bullingstone.
