Eridge Green - Old Groombridge
4 ¼ miles - allow 2¼ hours Sandrock outcrops are a distinctive part of High Weald landscape, they are important geological features and a home for unusual plants. The route now passes through Groombridge, with Harrison's Rocks being a worthwhile detour providing one of the best climbing edges in south-east England. This section also passes the 17th century manor of Groombridge Place before finishing in picturesque Old Groombridge.
