The Kent High Weald Partnerships business plan ‘Broadening Horizons’ aims to guide KHWP’s work for the next 5 years. It shows how we are best placed to meet the challenges ahead and flexible enough to respond to any obstacles which may arise. ‘Broadening Horizons’ is not a prescriptive plan, and does not intend to layout exact budget figures and revenue streams. It intends to be a guide that focuses our work in key areas and ensures that we remain true to our aims and those of our funding partners. This plan will give goals and aspirations rather than statistics and figures. The ‘Broadening Horizons’ plan is broken down into seven headings which will set the direction and influence of the Partnership into the next five years and beyond. The seven headings are:
The Kent High Weald Partnership began in July 1991, it was designed to deliver conservation and environmental needs on a local level. A, not-for-profit organisation, set up as a partnership between Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Kent County Council and the Countryside Agency (now Natural England), with the aim of facilitating and enabling countryside management in Tunbridge Wells Borough, working in the High Weald AONB and adjacent Low Weald.
