Promoting Access To The Countryside

We have developed opportunities for informal recreation for local people and visitors alike. through the promotion of : -

Raising Public Awareness

We raise awareness of issues facing the countryside, through a range of activities including:

Supporting Community Action

We support community action, helping many different local groups to conserve and enhance the natural environment. Groups include:

Local Conservation Groups

Parish Councils

Local Residents

Youth Groups

 

Conserving Wildlife And Landscapes

We offer advice, help with project planning and access to conservation grants to farmers, landowners and community groups and access to the following grant schemes:

High Weald AONB

We work in the Kent High Weald, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) for its rolling hills, small, irregular fields, abundant woods and hedges, scattered farmsteads and sunken lanes. www.highweald.org
