We work in the Kent High Weald, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) for its rolling hills, small, irregular fields, abundant woods and hedges, scattered farmsteads and sunken lanes. www.highweald.org

Conservation Volunteering

Projects

Practical conservation projects range from coppicing, hedgelaying, tree planting and woodland management in the winter to fencing, step and boardwalk construction in the summer.

 

Locations

Volunteer projects take place in many locations across the Tunbridge wells area, ranging from local nature reserves to farmed land.

 

Time

10am and 3pm.

 

You Will Need:

Old clothes and sturdy footwear.

A packed lunch.

A mug for drinks.

 

We Provide:

All tools and safety equipment.

Tools training

Tea, coffee, juice & biscuits
